Ulog#107 Hungry Surfer
We went on a trip traveling from Baguio to Baler and that trip took us around 5h24min (238 km) to get there. My colleagues decided to go to eat in this place called Hungry Surfer for Breakfast. We were actually the first one's there.
This was a very chill place and one thing that I liked about that place were all the quotes that were hanging on the walls.
Their breakfast menu consisted of Eggs and Things, Pancakes, Filipino Breakfast and Sandwiches and the price range was around 90 to 190 Php( around $1.70- $3.58 United States Dollars). Most of us got silog meals and you have a choice of what to pick from Tapa, Tocino, Longganisa, Porkchop, Bangus, Corned Beef or Hotdog and it is paired with garlic rice, an egg and tomatoes. This was all of us who went on that trip
I decided order a Tapa Silog Meal. The tapa(dried/cured beef) that they served was shredded, it wasn't my first time seeing shredded tapa but it is uncommon and it was new to my other colleagues. Some of them wasn't a fan of it but for me it tasted delicious.
If you like a chill place to stay I would recommend going here.

It was my first time there so I didn't drive, we actually hired a driver(he's the first guy in the left of the second group photo).
We really had a great time. I'm still looking for time to post our great adventure there.

I haven't tried or seen shredded beef before. I agree, that is uncommon. I did try shredded chicken though lol!
If you're near Baguio and If I'm not mistaken I think Cafe by the ruins serves shredded Tapa, hopefully they didn't change their menu yet. Thanks for dropping by!

Haler Baler! That is how I like my tapa which is shredded. I am trying to figure out who you are in the group photo. Great way of traveling is with a large group, more fun and there is no dull moment.
