Puloculinary #68: Trying Martabak Durian For the First Time

Durian Martabak is thick folded crepe filled with durian. It's not like the most common form of Martabak which is filled with egg. As we know that Martabak is often made from pan fried crepes which is folded and cut to square.
The martabak that I tasted few days ago, was different. It's the first time I tried Martabak Durian. That made of durian ‘meat’.
It's so tastiful, with warm soft and creamy durian. I will never forgotten that I have already tasted Martabak Durian of Samudra Pase in Banda Aceh. The price is only IDR 13.000 or about $1.
Martabak Durian of Samudra Pase is believed to have existed since the 1980s originated from Geudong, Samudera sub-district in North Aceh, Indonesia. But now, we could taste it in Banda Aceh (the capital city of Aceh Province) since Samudra Pase open their branch here, at Sultan Iskandar Muda Street.
If you travel to Banda Aceh, please make sure that you don’t miss Martabak Durian Samudera Pase as one of a must visit restaurant. I am sure, you won't forget the taste of warm, soft, and creamy durian.

can't believe there is a Martabak Durian out there. somebody should sell here in malaysia .
In Malaysia, famous with Cendol Durian. If you travel to Banda Aceh (only 1,5 hours flight from KL), please try martabak durian. And talk to the ownwer, who knows they will open branch there :)
I never taste murtabak durian before. I wonder how it taste.
