A warm, cozy restaurant to enjoy quality time...

korifey-cafe (Корифей):

Today again I am going to talk about another restaurant of Kharkiv, Ukraine. Well, name of the restaurant is "korifey-cafe (Корифей)", a warm-cozy , underground restaurant.

Interior:

When I entered into the restaurant ,I saw this large sitting area which reminds me lobby area or waiting zone. I was pretty much astonished to see this type of area into a restaurant because I didn't expect this type of area or space into a restaurant.

This is basically dining area, where people sit and order food. Interesting thing is total interior of the restaurant is really fascinating. I don't know how to describe but overall space is decorated with antique pieces. May be owner bought so many antique pieces from Auction at a very cheap rate and kept them into restaurant... hahaha.. just joking... But really wish I could show you guys each and every collections... Amazing pieces...

How I can define the overall interior??? I am thinking..... hmm... May be classical style or what??? Interesting.. This is the first time I can't define overall interior properly... Mostly antique pieces are made of wood and metal..

Really calm, quiet place with music.. You can spend quality time there plus you can do your work also.. Little light come from the window which really creates a magical moment. I have spent almost 2 hours there , just enjoyed my time..

Each and every dining tables are decorated like this... Now it's upto you how you define this restaurant because I have nothing to say...Wallpapers are decorated dark maroon color.. I guess interior designer tried to follow classical design.. What you say??

Menu:

Different types of foods are available... Italian, English , Ukrainian cuisine and fast foods... They have variations of pizza and pasta and also I noticed they have huge collection of Wine...Sandwich, burger, salads , milkshakes and soft drinks are also available...

I have ordered beef pasta with cheese and burger to taste.. I took water with my menu. Pasta was quiet good , spicy and sour which I like most.. They served my food after 20 minutes after ordering.. But price is average.. I mean kinda expensive..

But burger was really huge..I mean it took a lot of time to finish , may be it is just for me .. :P :P I don't like huge jumbo big burger..

One thing I love most is this table.. i mean serving area.. Different type...

This ia bar area.. You can see that piano type furniture which is use for collecting beer or alcohol.. I didn't try it so can't write about it much.. Next time will try it...

Overall I like this indoor environment , a perfect place to spend good time.. Yes, price is quiet expensive , I am not happy with the burger but I like pasta very much.. So food rating from me is 7 out of 10 ... People think sometimes it's a cafe but no it's not... It's a restaurant...
