First Night In Tokyo
Our first night in Tokyo, and we wanted to grab something cheap, decent, and warming. So we asked our hostess about ramen.
“Oh there is plenty of ramen restaurants around here because of the University Campus,” she told us. She thought we may want fancy foreign gourmet food... but that’s exactly why we chose accommodation near the Uni!!
Now, I can’t really tell you what’s on the menu, as everything is in Japanese. Basically it’s ramen noodles in broth, ramen noodles straight with a dipping sauce, Soba noodles, and rice.
My partner and daughter both got ramen in broth, and I got the Soba.
They were amazing.
One of the reasons we chose this place was because it was busy. So you know it’s good.
Also, note that the way to order is to pay money into a machine, press the button for the desired item, and then give the ticket to the chef.
Totally recommend this place if you want decent food for reasonable cost. All our meals cost 700¥ each.
