Theng-Theng Restaurant 🥘 Having Lunch At The Top Of The Mountain🏔

Early this year around the new year time, I traveling to the Doi Ang Khang National Park with my sister and my two sons. Which I have previously written about it here 👇

It was so beautiful place to visit. Doi Ang Khang National Park is the first research station of the Royal Project Located in Tambon Mae Ngon, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province Has a height of 1,400 meters above the water level and has a peak of 1,928 meters. The area of responsibility is about 26.52 square kilometers or 16,577 rai.

Today I’d like to review the restaurant around the Doi Ang Khang National Park, we get there around noon so, before we went to explore the mountain, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant, in this area we didn’t see a lot of options, so we headed to the first restaurant we found.

Quite hungry so I forgot to take the outside photo and also the menu 😅
The restaurant is decorated in simple, plain style. There is nothing special. There is a lot of tables I think it’s because there are a few restaurants around here to choose from, each place has to have a lot of tables for service. There are waitress and staffs walking around serviced customers.

We get there at the busy time, so we have to wait a while to get the attention from the staff and ordered our lunch. Most of the foods here is Thai-Chinese (Yunan) style and they look delicious from the table beside us😁😋

Anyway what we have ordered were the most recommended foods in this restaurant. Just in case you know, every time I go somewhere new and I am not so sure about the taste of the local food, I rather go for the most famous food of the place, it could not be wrong. 🍯

Our Lunch

After ordered, we kept talking photos while waiting for food. We thought it may take a long time because there were a lot of customers, but it didn’t take long at all, so they started to serve food at the table. They look very delicious, let’s the photo tell you.

Stewed Pork Leg With Chinese-Steamed Bread

The pork very well cooked, the chili sauce makes the taste even more delicious and those Chinese bread 🍞... YUMMY 😋

Fried Chicken With Ginseng’s flavor

Nice one, the kids loved it.

Black Chicken Soup-Yunan Style

Some hot soup would be great for the cold weather but for me, I love spicy food, some chili powder and lime juice would make it more tasty.

Fried Pork

You know what, we nearly skip this dish because Fried Pork??? you can get it everywhere in the world but my son really want it, so we have to order it at the end. Once it served, the taste was so good, it seemed to be the best meal of our lunch there.

We enjoyed our lunch here a lot, foods were really delicious. Price altogether included 4 plates of rice and 4 bottles of water was 750 ฿. (Which’s about 25 $) It was a good price for the four of us and for the quality of food too. I’m highly recommended this restaurant to you guys, a place worth trying some local delicious taste while you were here.
