The wall, nerdy restaurant!
Today I want to talk about this place, where I was at dinner just last night, this place is called "The Wall" and is a perfect place for nerds and Fantasy lovers in general, because this pub restaurant is all in a fantasy setting, from the furnishings to the menu. This is the moment when the two are distinguished by all the others in the city, not only for the fact that they include beer butter and sandwiches with the names of the houses of the throne of swords and pizzas called as the Lord of the Rings characters, but also for the many themetic nights!
The evenings at the wall are really varied, some deduced from fantasy and science-fiction cinema, others dedicate to role-playing games or cards, some dedicated to carving and drawing work and others to stories and stories, and every month there is the wiccan gathering of Tuscany.
There are also evenings dedicated to live music, folk groups or epic metal! If you want to make board games you can choiche many games to play, they also sell them and nerd gadgets too.
The menu is great, there are so many sandwiches to choose from, the most classic is the winterfell with meat of angus, bacon and cheddar, but there is also the Tyrell with quail eggs, scamorza, meat of angus and rocket, or the delicious Smaug, double pork burger with cheddar, lettuce, hard boiled egg in the middle, tomato and onion.
In addition there are pizzas of all kinds and weekly a special dish with seasonal products, such as polenta with chestnuts, onion soup, asparagus cream, pumpkin squid and the like, but these dishes must be booked. The restaurant is always full and it is advisable to reserve a table at least two days before.
My friends and I love this place, the prices I admit are a little high, but it's worth it, the portions are always abundant.
There are so many drinks to drink, there are cocktails inspired by fantasy invented by them, green and blue, so fresh and sober and then there are so many craft and classic beers, little choice of wine and soft drinks.
About desserts they have many instead, tortini, chocolate pies , ice cream, parfaits, cakes of various kinds and the nutella pizza that we always order, it is very good!
