When you have restaurants or food stores just nearby, it is easy to run and take a break anytime. That is what I sometimes do and have drinks to shake off sleepy head. Thanks to this Tsoko Nut Batirol shop.

These very tempting sweet blends will greet you as you enter. The poster is right on the glass door so you can not miss it when you enter.

There are more options inside as we can see on the overhead menu. Cold and hot drinks alike. But again if you want to shake that sleepy head specially on a rainy afternoon, the Tsokolate Ah Batirol will be a great choice. I ordered the sugarfree version.

Batirol is a wooden whisk used for hot beverages like coffee and chocolate.

It is sometimes funny but I see it is the norm that while you wait for your order, the napkin is served first. And this one made me smile.

The goodness of Pinoy flavors.

Pinoy is the shortened version of Filipino.

That is an eye catching tag line for a food business. I love the highlighting of Filipino flavors and patronizing our own.

While I ordered sugarfree drink, they still serve those two sticks of sweetener. These actually saved my day during the first time that I tried the batirol because I did not realize that the chocolate is really pure. It was too bitter to drink it straight as it is without sweetener.

So here comes my drink. Let us enjoy it while it's hot.

With the price of P88.00 (US$ 1.68), it was a great drink for me while taking a break from a loaded day that I wish I can double the time to be able to catch up with what needs to be done. In spite of the load, sometimes it is necessary to take a break to be able to re-focus.

And maybe next time, I will come back to try those tempting blends posted by the door.

Short but good detailing along with some good pictures....1.7 dollars does not looks costly either...

$1.7 will be costly if you do it every day just for coffee. That is why I rarely do Starbucks. 😄
