Breakfast at 1900metres above sea level, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
This Cafe which is part of the lodge is located approximately 500metres away from the famous Mount Kota Kinabalu. It's a really different experience eating here. The weather in the morning is usually around 16 degrees.
This is what the interior looks like. There is a wide selection of food here.
The American breakfast
I don't know if that's what it is in the USA but usually in Malaysia, they call this the American breakfast. Usually noodles are the preferred choice.
That's my wife having her breakfast too. It's pretty cold all year round at this place. To get here, you need to drive for around roughly 2 hours along mountainous roads.
They have a balcony outside but it was too cold especially with the cold winds that blew.

My husband has climbed Kota Kinabalu (I climbed half) so this place have a place in our hearts.
I guess they serve this kind of breakfast because there are lots of Westerners who climbs to the top of the mountain.

Hi hi.. Ooo wow. It is tough isn't it? I climbed in 2014,one year before the earth quake. It is a place I don't think I would revisit because my knee has permanent problems.nowadays.hahhaa..

Yes, it is very challenging! Hahaha! 😁 But they say that its worth the climb. Yet they have never mentioned of doing it again. Hahaha! 😁😂

Yes, I did. We saw some squirrels along the way, and many interesting plants like pitcher plant. Amazing! 😍

Yes, our male friends went for a climb. We were there to cheer them up! Hahaha! 😂 But I and few girl friends only climb halfway to see what's in there. But of course, the view and the climb is far too different! Hahaha! 😂😁 But it was a great experience nonetheless. I enjoyed it.

16 Degrees? It is cold. It used to drop to 10 degrees sometimes, depending on the weather.
