Go-to dessert, Carrot Cake in Café Partisan
Comfy café
I've always been longing to experience this atmosphere where it welcomes you with a big giant coffee roasting machine (even if it's merely for decoration). Partisan is a roasting coffee cafe, which means they manage their own coffee beans (italiens, etc) and offers clients the 'le meilleur' taste in Paris.
The huge window was widely open on a breeze day so I went in for a dessert, and immediately saw this gorgeous carrot cake in front. It wasn't even cut in pieces yet, so I thought of eating it as it is... but i ordered a small piece with iced americano. The coffee was mild and bittersweet, just as i wanted.
Besides the carrot cake, they have pound cake, brownie (there was only one left) and the tartes. Good coffee and good dessert goes together, and they stick together. right?
