Este brings New York pizza, and attitude to Salt Lake City
I know, any time it is suggested that a location-famous food can be as good somewhere else, there are those who cry blasphemy. Although I am not from New York, I have visited many pizza places there, and Este is just as good as any I tried in the Big Apple.
Large slices of delicious thin-crust pizza topped with the finest ingredients.
Buy a pie, or order by the slice, you will find the traditional favorites as well as their own specialties such as the White Pizza with ricotta, olive oil, garlic, and oregano topped with mozzarella cheese.
Their pesto pizza is one of the best I have ever tasted, and they even have vegan options. Start off with some garlic knots while you are waiting for your pizza, and wash it down with a great selection of Uinta and Unibroue beers.
There are two locations, each offering dine-in, take-out, and delivery. Now what you must know is there are rules at Este.
- No pineapple
- No ranch dressing
- No Red Sox attire
- Eat it or beat it
- The forks are for pasta, not pizza. Fold it!
What would a New York pizza place be without a bit of NY attitude? It is incredible, and you should try it soon.
