A Late Lunch & Coffee Session With Her
A weekend outing with @enjiliew after a trip to the National Art Gallery to appreciate the works of da Vinci. This is a shop that we were about to visit but was closed due to we were here too early. Today, we finally get to visit this cafe. Overall, the food quality was good and unique in a sense that it was a modern fusion of Japanese and western food. The taste for the food were rich and diversified. I also ordered a house latte which was just the taste expected.
Super crowded cafe
The busy superstar barista
Love how they reuse this tin with some liquid inside, showing some love to the customers through meaningful quotes.
Branding matters at all corners
The cafe was crowded when we arrived and left with one two person seatings. Luckily, we get it right away as another pair were waiting for a larger seating place. We browsed through the menu and decided to go for our own plates. She went for a lighter salad with soba while I went for heavier taste plate which was rendang duck confit. Both presentation and taste were great and we both shared the food. Since I didn’t have my coffee take for the day, so I tried on their latte which they offered classical taste and also fruity taste. To me, latte could not differentiate much on the taste but I just looking for the coffee aroma within the milk. If I’m going to go for the fruity taste, it is best to get a americano or espresso.
My Rendang Duck, amazing piece
Her salad with soba, refrehsing
My house latte
The overall deco for the cafe was minimal like many of the local cafe which was ideal for the startup. The cafe seemed quite new in terms of interior but the menu seemed it was like years ago as it was tore like it went through lots of hands. Nevertheless, the ambiance was great but not suitable for co-working space as people were waiting to be seated. Would come back to try other plates and also try on their dessert. They seemed to be very interesting and tempting to get a taste on.
Some reference on the menu, some are monthly special menu
