Happy Father's Day Lunch
A very happy father's day to all the proud fathers around the world, not to forget my very own father who had taking care of the family and still doing his best to do so. Being a father is not an easy role, especially at this competitive era whereby career and family life are both demanding.
Very catchy name for the cafe
A short trip back to my hometown while getting my mum and dad to go out for a lunch. We decided to get a place nearer to our house as we need to get to another destination after that. As I am treating both of my parents, I had decided to go for western food which my dad likes it.

This is a cafe that I visited with my family from time to time. I am amazed with their food quality as it is not easy to survive for more than 3 years in that area being a F&B outlet. There are a lot of changes around that area which I see a few of the restaurants are still standing strong which this cafe being one of them.
The cafe is situated at 1st floor level of a mixed development of residentail and commercial building. At podium level, there are 3 levels of commercial shops and above that are residential units. It is one of the hottest spot in Farlim area, Penang. I would say one of the most crowded place in Penang Island.
Playful graffiti art
The cafe has a simple yet refreshing decoration which fully utilizes the space within and at the side walk. Simple white flushed wall with some grafitti art painted on the wall. Outside, they planted money plants that made the space like a lush green space, making it very comfortable and welcoming. The cafe served great coffee, good food and also nice dessert (love their Tiramisu but oops not available when we visited).
As we ordered, we waited for around 20 plus minutes for the food as the cafe was really crowded that time. Lucky for us that we had the last table when we came. During the lunch, we enjoyed precious family moment together with talk and discussion about family and future matters. This Tasteem review gets bit sentimental as it is more about family moments and food outlet sometime bears such memory as we spent time together. To me, when we combine places with people, it forms memories that is precious and meaningful. I guess, this is what Tasteem meant for me and it elevates the experience of me posting here as most of the time, the review I made had people included.

There will always be a place that we love to go to because it had become our favorite. I think that became yours. To survive that long it means the food and service is good. It seems like the food is great just by looking at the photos. It's always good to spend time with family. We should give time for moments like that.
Yup, totally agreed with you. To me, it is a privilege to get such lovely moments with family and I enjoyed every parts of it.
