Homst Restaurant at Setia Alam.

'The Warm Feeling of Home'- This is Homst Seafood's tagline! A restaurant that offers Halal Authentic Chinese Cuisines including smoked ducks which is hard to find in any local Muslim restaurants. Plus they also have a wide selection of Chinese Style Dim Sums too (which is rare as well).

We used to dine at Kota Damansara branch many years ago when I was still working at that area. I was surprised to see they opened a branch at Setia Alam, so I was excited to try out the food at this Setia Alam branch for lunch, the branch just opened a few months ago. The ambience was really nice, the place is clean and spacious, I really like it.

From the menu, you can see they offer a variety of dishes, where you can order a few dishes to share or individual set according to your own liking. The price is reasonable considering the portions served and the food was delicious!

So we had ordered as below:

Yam Basket

Ginger Lala

Sizzling Taufu

Dim Sum (Siew Mai and Sparkling Prawn Dumpling, just to taste)

They even have Dim Sum Hi-Tea Set from 2 pm - 5 pm.

Overall the food was nice, the staffs were friendly because when we reached the front door, they will come out to greet us and introduce their specials to us. The service was good and the foods were served within 15 mins. We will definitely go back again to try other dishes.

We had a good lunch while looking out at a view of pouring rain. We just relax after the meal with coffee and tea, waiting for the rain to stop.
