So today i am going to introduce this resturant to you guys. When you visit Hong Kong, you may come and have a try. As we all know Hong Kong is a multicultrual city, you are able to find many different kind of foods here. So one of the example is Ramen resturant.

This ramen resturant serves another kind of ramen. Unlike the common serving method with noodles soaked in soup, they seperate them into two. Which could help remains the elasticity of the noodle, as if the noodle soaked in the soup for too long they will absorb excess amount of soup and also overcooked.

So lets talk about the reason i promote this resturant, firstly its cheaper than average but having a higher quality than average. The price range is from 78 HKD to 88HKD which is approximately 10USD to 12USD. This price is even included the half cooked egg! While most likely, other resturant treat them as an add on.

Moreover, the portion is quite large as well. As a 18 years old boy, it could fully fill up my belly. Well, in a more precise way it serves 190 gram of noodles, two slice of barbequed pork, one half-cooked egg, few pieces of bamboo shoot, one piece of seaweed.

For me, there are three essential element for rating a ramen.

  1. The soup have to be concentrated enough, full of umami.
  2. Noodle have to be intermidiately cooked, not too hard and not too soft
  3. Sliced pork have to be in a appropriate thickness to give the best texture. Also, the pork have to be flavoured.

For this ramen, its soup is definitely concentrated enough as it was cooked with and refilled with more than 5 kg of pork bone.

The noodles are made by the shop by their own everyday(special flavour like earl grey and grapefruit ) , so the noodles were definitely fresh made. Timer were set up to make sure they did not overcook the noodles.

The size of pork is pretty big which almost as big as my hand(which have two !) It was cut by man instead of machines, so the thickness will not be too thin.

In addition, half-cooked egg is my favouriteXD This help added a bonus mark to this resturant. I think they did pretty well on it. The egg is cooked to the exact point that there are still some egg york in liquid but not too much, also the egg is slighty salty as soaked in soy sause for a appropriate amount of time .

I would rate this resturant with 9/10
The mark i deducted from it is due the quality sometimes change a bit because of different chef. The bamboo shoot might not be well processed , results in some Astringency in it.

To conclude, I strongly recommend you to visit this resturant when you visit Hong Kong!
