Fa Ying Thai Fare & Cafe | Tasteem Review

Catching up with friends over dinner and drinks is a very common thing to do for most of us. On this day, both my husband & I decided on this specific restaurant to dine with two of my workmates who are also good friends of mine. They wanted to know more about Steemit and who better to explain it all than my hubby @bitRocker2020.

Although I've bypass this restaurant numerous times, it has never crossed my mind to dine at Fa Ying Thai Fare & Cafe. Afterall, Thai food isn't something one would go for anytime of the day and it's also not everybody's favourite tastebud.

After a thorough explaination on Steemit, we were all famished and @bitRockr2020 suggested that we try Fa Ying Thai Fare & Cafe. He's been there before several times and highly recommend that we give it a try. This restaurant is located at Paradigm Mall in Petaling Jaya.

The ambience was perfect, though it's located it the outdoors of a shopping mall, the cool air conditioner from the mall flows outside. In addition, it was about 6.30PM, as such the weather was pretty cool and there were strong winds blowing through the building tunnels.

Bar Counter Dining

The decorations are very modern Thai concept and trendy too. There weren't many occupied tables and it seemed to cater more for the working crowd who wants to catch quick dinner before heading home.

From the menu, there were options of individual items to select from. With high recommendations, we took a set dinner menu that showcase their signature dishes. There were seven dishes on this set which is catered for four persons. Drinks and dessert was also included in the set.

Apart from the set menu, there was the individual dishes as well. We couldn't order more even if we wanted to as seven dishes for four persons to eat is alot. Thank goodness that they serve a small portion of rice to all of us.

Thai Roasted Chicken with Cranberry Pineapple Rice

I wished I could say that I loved all the seven dishes but there were several dishes that was outstanding. Portions were just nice for all four of us and even then we still couldn't finished up everything.

I would definitely return again to this restaurant as not only is the ambience comfortable but the pricing is also fair. The food actually taste good.

For four of us, we only paid RM95.30
