Passio Coffee | Tasteem Review
If you walk along any street in Vietnam, you would find coffee shops all around you; be it the luxurious standard right to the street side seating, it would still be a coffee shop. Unfortunately, I'm no coffee lover so when I do go to any coffee shops, I will order either tea, smoothies or fruit juice. In this one occasion, I decided to walk into this coffee shop. I've seen this coffee brand quite frequently in HCMC but it's always a small cramped up area or just a stall by the road side.
This particular outlet is considered big since it has a seating area; which is considered luxury especially when one doesn't need to squat or sit on a low stool.
It was a hot afternoon and after walking halfway in the hot sun towards my destination, I decided to stop here and order a drink. This isn't something I normally do; but the heat just gets to you in the afternoon. I had earlier ordered for a Mint Mojito ice blended drink; but I was told that they had run out of Mojito.
They convinced me to try the Mint Lime ice blended smoothie instead. Now, this was the right choice for the right weather! Perfect for me since I like mint and I like anything that is sourish.
I wasn't the only one who ordered this drink. The bartenders were making 2 dozens of Mint Lime ice blended drinks for takeaway. Looks like the hot weather gets a toll on everyone !
Then again, thanks to the weather.. I found a new place to drink and a favorite drink as well. Oh yes.. it cost me only VND29,000 = USD1.25 = MYR5.12
