Interesting concept - We have something similar in Australia were you can drink the beers in or takeaway from bottleshops.

Oh we can drink in front of the convenience stores, too! And some of the better ones have covered patios or in the countryside, you can even drink in them, but sadly, in the cities, it's not allowed (the bars got angry and jealous).
