Half quarter chicken and devils burger at Barrel, Surigao
The best thing about a touristy place like Siargao is it's array of restaurant to choose from. On our second day and in a bid to watch an episode of Game of Thrones we decided to eat at Barrel.
From the entrance one can have a sense that strict table manners will be observed. True enough as we enter it's premise we were greeted with an open air dining with flat screens at the age station and choice between a regular chair and a high stool
Famished we orderded a half quarter roasted chicken and a devils burHer. It was mouth watering.
My chicken was well done but juicy. The potato wedges weren't too salty and firm. The dip taste of herbs and ham. The serving was good for sharing.
Zhy's burger was delectable as well. It was well garnished and the patry was really made from real. meat not from starch it other additive. So despite being exhausted from our island trip are as pose for a souvenir shot.
Dim lit it makes for a perfect romantic nook and a movie theatre as well. So together with many foreigners I cheered while Arya Stark killed the nightwalker victoriously.
In overall, it was a cool place to chill out literally and figuratively. They have a pool to test your skills with friends. They also have promos for food and drinks. The place though smells of occasional cigarette is a great dining experience I would love others to try.
Look even the dogs are in agreement.
