みんな大好きジンジャーチキン@シンガポール
またシンガポールのレストランのご案内です。
シンガポール在住の友人に教えてもらい一緒に食べに行きました。
Soup Restaurant（スープレストラン）というところです。
友人曰くあまり日本向けのガイドには載っていないけど人気のある店とのことです。（空港にも店舗はあるのでそんなにマイナーではないかもしれません）
今回は日本でいう表参道にあたるオーチャード通りにあるパラゴンというショッピングセンターの地下のスープレストランにきました。
外観、内観はこのような感じです。
入店するときに並びましたが、中から見ると列はこれだけできていました。
このような料理を提供しています
注文は友人に任せて届いたのがこちらです
まずはお通しの茹でピーナッツ
炒飯
甘辛いソースがかかった豆腐
ほうれん草
外せないのがこの店大定番のジンジャーチキン。ここに来る客はほとんどこれを注文されるそうです。
タイ料理のカオマンガイ好きとしてもこれは外せません。
いずれもレベルの高い料理で日本人の口にもばっちり合うと思います。（ピーナッツは好き嫌いが分かれそうな気がします）
シンガポールに行って辛い地元飯が辛くなったらここがおすすめです。
何店舗もある中で、パラゴンの店がサービスが行き届いていておすすめらしいです。

湯でピーナッツは中国で初めて食べてから好きになりました。確かに好みは別れそうですけどね…。ところで、シンガポールって行ったことないんですが、首都圏では何語がメインで話されてるんですか？シンギッシュも聞こえてきます？
シンガポールはマンダリンと英語がメインだと思います！シンガポール英語はあまり意識したことがないのて気にならない感じですかね。現地生まれの同僚はマレー語も家庭内で話すって聞いたことがある気がします
