Authentic Chinese Food at Lao Huo Tang
Lao Huo Tang (老火汤) is a popular soup restaurant in Singapore.
It serves traditional Chinese soups and many Chinese cuisines.
It started out at a Hawker Centre in Singapore but it decided to venture out in its restaurant business in 2011.
I went to its branch at Star Vista located near Buona Vista MRT.
Before you enter the restaurant, it has its menu displayed nicely outside the restaurant for your consideration.
We ordered a small pot of old cucumber soup to share since we are allowed to ask for a refill once.
You would probably enjoy the tasty soup.
We also had french bean with minced meat. It tasted good with its crunchiness.
The below is eggplant in gravy.
It had a nice gravy that you may just want to spread over your rice.
The sweet and sour fish was also very delicious.
All the dishes went well with rice if you like traditional Chinese cuisine very much.
Lao Huo Tang is a great place to enjoy authentic Chinese food if you ever visit Singapore.
