Thai Spice & Sushi in Sarasota Florida -- so good :-)
Hello Everyone, I would like review new Thai Spice & Sushi restaurant in Florida, USA
Appetizers
When you go to a new Thai Restaurant you want to try several dishes to get a feel for the food and taste. We were traveling in Sarasota the other week and we found Thai Spice & Sushi Restaurant. It was a great find :-)
The restaurant had a complete menu of Thai and Sushi and we wasted no time in ordering the Thai Sampler dish. Good call. The sampler plate is a great appetizer since it has many different foods to taste on one platter
Thai Sampler Plate
Egg roll, chichen satay, krab angels, sumai pork and shrimp in a blanket for $10.95
Stir Fry Entrees
Of course we now order the main course which is Pad Prik. We ordered medium hot not knowing how it would be. It was excellent.
Pad Prik With Chichen
- Bell peppers, carrots, onions, garlic, scallions, and mushrooms in a spicy chili brown sauce sever with rice. $11.95
Curry Entrees
My dish was one of my favorites, vegatable panabg curry. They nailed it. Hot enough to make my nose run and the taste was just want I was looking for.
Vegatable Panang Curry
- Pannang curry pate, coconut milk, bell peppers, fresh basil leaves, and kaffir lime leaves, Ours choice Vegetables...$11.95
The Menus
The menu was very broad with Sushi and Thai food dishes. We will definitely try other things when we go there again. The costs were very reasonable. Appetizer plus main dishes and tip ran us about $50, which is less than we usually spend when we go out for Thai.
Interior decoration
The inside was clean and had an Thai/Asian flare with a small Sushi Bar as well.
Exterior decoration
Thai Spice was part of a small shopping mall. Parking was super easy and we went just before 5pm so the crowd was small.
I would definitely recommend Thai Spice & Sushi to anyone in the Sarasota, Florida area. You will not be disappointed .... 4.5 stars :-)
