Chinese Muslim Food at Chong Hwa Curry Laksa, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
Welcome to Chong Hwa Curry Laksa @ PV128, which is an open air mall in Taman Danau Kota, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Even though this place is quite near where I live, I had not been here before and really enjoyed the visit.
The food served here is a variety known as Chinese Muslim. This is quite common in multi-cultural Malaysia and puts a twist on every meal.
You see the outside seating and all the way to the back of this busy place. Although it was full here, the service was very good and we were seated and served quickly.

The kitchen runs along one side of the restaurant. This station is making fresh noodles and laksa they are known for.
The condiments are behind glass, and looking very yummy.
We are sitting inside with a large party for lunch.
The menu is small and way up on the wall.
These prices are very inexpensive and the servings will be large.
I'm am getting the Nasi Lemak Ayam for 7.50 rm - $1.80 usd. Yes, again I try a version of the National dish of Malaysia and will not be disappointed.
My friend has cucumber juice and I have copi ice. My drink was a nice thick shot of delicious caffeine, but I still wished I had tried the cuke juice.
My friend has chicken curry noddles and a side of chicken.
The morsels on top are cockles. This is a shellfish now on my list to try.
And here is my giant plate of Nasi Lemak with a fried chicken thigh and fried egg.
The red sambol sauce was a bit different than I am used to, and was very good. The rice was also flavored differently than in previous Nasi Lemaks I have eaten.
But absolutely no complaints! No skimping on the peanuts and anchovies which were top notch.
This was a great budget meal in a nice setting and I will be glad to return again.
