Wonderful Bee Won Korean BBQ Restaurant Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
Welcome to Bee Won Korean BBQ Restaurant in Setapak Central Mall, Taman Danau Kota, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. I had a wonderful lunch here with many friends and this could easily be a weekly choice for me.
You see the cash register to the right and the entire restaurant space in this shot.
My friend recommends the Bibim bab with pork and I end up very happy with this choice. RM 16 is $3.80 USD.
We do not order any drinks here. Instead we get several displays of water and cups like this.
I love this idea.
This is how my meal came before I dug in. The red sauce at the top right is very spicy, and I only took about half of it.
I dug down to show you the rice I have at the bottom of my bowl. The crockery bowl is heated in some way, and much too hot to touch. The food remaining will still be hot from the bowl when I am done eating.
Here is the endlessly re-filled and shared condiment platter for our meal. For me, this could be the meal. I love everything here, and I am first to ask for more.
Peanuts and dried and fried anchovies are a very common side in Malaysia. I am all in favor of this idea!
This salad is very western tasting. It's just like a green salad you would get anywhere in the US with a light dressing.
I wish I had a better photo of this yummy condiment. It is both fruit and vegetables in some type of sauce, and possibly stir fried. It's very refreshing to my palate.
Here is some kimchi to die for. I love this, and it is usually expensive in stores, so I eat my fill here.
This is sometime of squash breaded and fried. Very tasty!
The seaweed mix is mostly kombu, which I love. Give me all the condiments!
As directed, I mixed all my food in the bowl. It was still cooking and I added some of the water to cool it. This brings looks of horror from my Malaysian friends. "I'm making gravy," I say.
A tomato based soup one of my friends had was steaming hot and very spicy too. Not for me!
Another friend's fish is so big it will not fit in the plate. She thought it was very good.
I've been eating for quite some time and looks like I did not make a dent. I grabbed all of the leftover condiments and took this home for a delicious breakfast the next day.
I highly recommend Bee Won Korean BBQ Restaurant. I have been there at other times, but did not give reviews. In all of these times I am never disappointed and I know you will like it too.
