Best Breakfast: 'Bu Prang'
This morning I had a special guest, he was my uncle from the village, because too early when arrived in the city, we were forced to have breakfast outside this morning.
Bu Prang is the choice of breakfast menu this time, it is not too difficult to find it in my city, almost every coffee shop provides it in the morning as a breakfast menu.
Bu Prang is a kind of Nasi Leumak(familiar in Malay), only the color of rice is given turmeric starch so that the color of the rice turns yellow.
This morning I tried Bu Prang provided at Sagoe Kupi, a coffee shop that was very crowded in the morning. Bu Prang is usually given makeshift side dishes, such as eggs, anchovies, toucho, and tempeh. Because the menu and portions are not too much, it is familiarly called "Bu Prang" in our area (rice in battle conditions).
Uniquely, Bu Prang was wrapped using banana leaves, no plate were provided, its looks like a tradition isn't my taSteemian friend?
One serving of Bu Prang usually costs IDR 5000 rupiah, you can easily find it in every coffee shop if you arrive in my city, and felt the tasteem.
