This is BeefBar México. A fancy restaurant inside a well known hotel in Mexico City. This place is part of an international franchise by Riccardo Giraudi, a fine dinning concept creator.
Here you can taste a mix concept of fine dinning and casual street food in a modern luxury atmosphere. They try to be an unpretentious place but in realty it’s very pretentious. Or maybe they pretend not to be pretentious.
The menu has a lot of street food plates from every corner of the world but made with top quality materials. Just like this Mini Wagyu Burger. It’s mainly known for the quality of the meat but that’s kind of boring, don’t get me wrong, I love meat but you can get good meat in a lot of places. So that’s why I tried other kind of food here.
So you already saw the burger. That came with some fries, but not any fries, those were truffle oil fries with Parmesan cheese and rosemary.
Being me a backset people I ordered a Kale Salad, in a beef bar, that was kind of a joke for myself but its was good, very aromatic.
Finally I tried the Green Risotto with pesto, asparagus, peas, mozzarella and a little cherry tomato on top. It was light and with delicate flavors, a perfect side for a big chunk of meat that I didn’t ordered.
