Macelleria Roma, a pasta heaven in Mexico city.

This time I’m going to support Team Pasta with this wonderful restaurant called Macelleria Roma in Mexico City. This place is in the middle of La Colonia Roma (the neighborhood of the recent movie Rome).
Here you can get pizza, a nice steak, fancy sandwich or delicious pasta. And we were on the mood for some pasta, so that’s what we ordered.
To start the engine we asked for a tomato soup the picture is not great but it was very good.
Then we ordered a mix of fried squid and pumpkin; this is always a good and tasty idea.
Now for the main course we both got some pasta ravioli to be specific.
I ordered the Ravioli di Ricotta Espinaci with a creamy tomato sauce. They were really big and one thing I love of this place is the decorated plates. Like this that say: “We’re pasta victims”.
The other pasta we ordered was Ravioli di prosciutto with a creamy and cheesy sauce. Both were really delicious and definitely we’ll come back for more.
It is important to say that the pasta served in here is fresh and I think is made in the restaurant. And that makes a lot of difference.
Finally as a bonus we got a Cannoli Tower for dessert.
