Drinks at Licoreria Limantour, México
Las week we went for some drinks to the Licorería Limantour, the number 11 on the list of the World’s 50 Best Bars. We are not experts in bars but we had a great time and some awesome drinks.
We went there to meet some friends. We arrived early and ordered some snacks while we waited. This is the plate we ordered and it contained a couple of rib eye tacos, a duck fried taco, a couple of tostadas of tuna and a couple of brie cheese popsicles.
This plate was meant for tow people, so it was perfect for us. Our friends were dinning in another place so they were not going to ask for food.
To accompany our snack we order some cocktails. Here the drinks are a little bit complicated so I might miss some ingredients. The cocktails menu it's almost a book. I forgot to take a pic of the menu, maybe because it was to complicate and I was reading it carefully. But anyway it was a book and in some cases one page describes just one drink.
This green one was my wife’s drink and I really can’t remember what was it. But I know it was Gin with some herbs and it also looks beautiful.
Mine had mango, some kind of Mezcal and the dust from the glass was chile, it was spicy.
The our friends arrive and we ordered another drink but because it was a little bit late, the light was weaker and we couldn’t take a pic.
We hope we can go there another time and bring you some more cocktails pictures. This place has two locations in México City, and we went to the one in Polanco.
