Marz-o-rin and Chutney sandwich: A must try in Pune
Do you believe in serentdipity or destiny or any of those forces? Finding out Marz-o-rin was such an experience for me. On my first day in Pune one of my collegue took me to this restaurant for dinner and I had the yummiest chicken cheese pasta and a mango drink/shake as I remember correctly. I remember the balcony seat we got after waiting for sometime and the great ambiance of the place. All I knew that time was we parked our bike in MG road, I was very new to the city and the differences were a little shocking to me at that time. Fast forward one year, I craved for that chicken cheese pasta but I didn't know the name of the resturant or location expect the resturant has a great seating on the balcony with a view of the busy MG road.
One very fine day I accidently went to this small resturant after shopping at MG road and ordered some pasta and drink. Turns out it was the same pace I was searching! More interesting fact, Marz-o-rin is a recommended "must eat at" places in Pune.
I always loved their small sized pizzas and pastas after shopping in MG road. But, "Chutny sandwich" is the one which is loved by many and comes first on the hit list of marz-o-rin menu. Before leaving Pune I had to try that and I visited the place just to have a chutny sandwich. It was so good and yet simple. I always had a bad feeling about the things that are hyped a lot and I had the same for the chutny sandwich too. But one bite and I agree this is the special item from marz-o-rin.
Marz-o-rin is one of the places that serve quality food in reasonable price. A sandwich costs you INR.45 ~ 0.7$ and most of the drinks are around INR. 85~ 1.2$. You can go through their menu on their website: http://marzorin.com/shop/
Other than food, Marz-o-rin has a nice balcony seating that faces MG road. This place has the best ambiance to spend an evening with your loved ones. With the trees that cover most of the part of the window Marz-o-rin has this vintage look and it is very common to get crowded in the weekends and evening.
Do visit Marz-o-rin for quick bites while you are in Pune and you'll never regret it.

That Chutny sandwich looks green...wonder how it taste..
I actually am out of words to explain the exact taste of it. Normally green chutney has mint and chilly but this sandwich has chutney so well soaked by the bread and it tasted soft and good.
I had this same doubt before I had it though!
