There are many Chinese Food restaurant in Indonesia. One of the restaurant brand is Imperial Kitchen & Dim Sum. With more than 20 outlets all over Indonesia, it is the most popular Chinese food restaurant which doesn’t provide pork and lard for the dishes. The newest outlet which just opened yesterday January 30 th is in Blok M Plaza, South Jakarta.
This restaurant provides many varieties of Chinese Food such as deep fried enoki mushroom with salt and pepper, asparagus soup with crab meat, BBQ chicken noodle, Yang Chow fried rice, Fried Chicken with Dried Chilli and other delicious menus. Like its’ name, they also provide many varieties of dimsum like steamed shrimp dumpling, shrimp siew mai, Gao Zi, xiao long bao, shrimp & mushroom dumpling, and others. Don’t forget also to try the authentic dessert here, snow ice.

The Place
This outlet is located in a plaza lobby, it is strategic and easy to find and also located in a crowded area, Blok M. Although the space is not big, but it is comfortable enough for us to gather and hang out there.
During lunchtime and dinner time it might a bit crowded. It also had a balcony to eat outdoor.

The Food
This is the Yang Chow Fried Rice. Fried rice with white colour, savoury taste and completed with egg, slices of BBQ chicken, shrimp and a bit lettuce.

This kind of dim sum is Gao Zi, shrimp dumplings in sweet vinegar sauce. The taste of the dumplings are tasty and savoury, with sweet and a bit sour sauce. This is one of the favorite menu here.

This kind of dim sum is Shrimp and Mushroom Dumplings. The taste is savoury and also tasty, the taste would be great with the chilli oil provided.

The Dessert
One of the authentic dessert here is the snow ice. This one is Cookies & Cream Snow Ice. The taste is sweet and fresh.

The Service
The staff here are nice and friendly, they also quick responsive to our order. And also it doesn’t take much time for them to prepare our order.

The opening time is 10 a.m – 10 p.m, as the plaza’s operation hour.

It is nice to have dinner here.
