My Favourite Dessert: A Tasteem Review
There's Ice cold cream and then there is Nitrogen Ice Cream. This super cold ice cream is made so by liquid nitrogen. They also add unique toppings such as Matcha, Cotton Candy and Charcoal to make them extra-Instagrammable. It's starting to warm up here in Toronto so if you want a treat, head on down to Cool N2 http://www.cooln2canada.com/cooln2-canada
Watching them make it from large tanks of Nitrogen is half the fun. The line can take some time to move especially if people are ordering fancy ones that they need to take a flame to or prepare cotton candy for. Don't worry, the nitrogen is safe.
After they put on the finishing touches, it's time to enjoy. Be careful of people focusing more on photos than enjoying their dessert. The ice cream parlour is located on trendy Queen St. W. of Toronto.

Wow, amazing! So, how did it taste? And was it super expensive? I'm not sure the purpose of the nitrogen though - just to make it super cold? I guess I'm not really understanding what is the principal idea of this. Interesting post though!
It was great, like fancy ice cream, very cold. It wasn't super expensive, less than $20 for two. Nitrogen makes it very cold.
I have heard of nitrogen ice cream but never came across a ice cream parlour dedicated to it @crypticat
If you see one, try it!
I had that in a restaurant once as well but it didn't balloon up that much, still pretty impressive though
It's cotton candy on top with charcoal colouring
