Happy Dragon Cafe 喜隆隆饮食坊 @ Teh - C || Food2Day Review
Good Day Steemians! Thank you for dropping by! Today we are looking at a cafe in Miri which I often go to because of one drink that it serves there. One of my best buddy, Leong (his base is in Bintulu) told me that whenever he visits Miri, he will definitely visit this cafe to drink this beverage and if not, he will surely pack on in the car before heading back to Bintulu.
Happy Dragon Cafe, definitely is serving one of the best "Teh-C" if not the best that I know. In most part of Malaysia, "Teh-C" is actually a mixture of tea, evaporated milk and sugar. Maybe in one of my future post, I might as well introduce the basic terms used by common Malaysian in ordering either Coffee or Tea.
THE PLACE
Happy Dragon Cafe or with its name in Mandarin, 喜隆隆饮食坊, can easily be found through Google Map or Waze. The cafe is located at one of the residential shoplots nearby Jalan Pujut 2C. It is a cafe with food court concept where there are multiple food stalls available. No airconditioning of course, but there were fans and the cafe is well ventilated.
At this cafe, you need to order and take your drinks at the counter. They will not come to you to take your order. This is the drink counter:
THE MENU
The main thing that I am going to introduce here is of course their "TEH-C"! Like I said previously, "Teh-C" are suppose to be made of a mixture of tea, evaporated milk and sugar. Here at Happy Dragon Cafe, their "Teh-C" are a little different. They use Fresh Milk in place of Evaporated Milk. The beverage is also whipped before being served. Their way of preparation definitely create a distinction in the taste of their "Teh-C". Hot or Cold, either both will give you a satisfying taste.
Well of course, while you are here to try out this "Teh-C", there are other drinks and food as well. For the food, different stall selling different variety. Chee cheong fun, dimsum, kampua, fried noodle, pan mee, laksa, beef noodle, and even kompia are available here. Althought they are not the highlight here, but the food taste good as well.

The "Teh-C" here cost around RM2++. The price of the drinks here is quite the average price you can find among cafe nowadays. So its not that expensive.
TASTE

Without a doubt, the taste of this "Teh-C" is very satisfying since the last time I was there. The food there are not bad as well.
PORTION
The portion of their drinks are of cafe-standard size. Bigger glasses for the drinks with ice while medium glasses for the hot drinks.
SERVICE

You dont need much service here, as you need to order you own drinks and take it by yourself. Its like a bubbletea counter concept. But their tea maker is indeed fast can capable of maintaining the same taste for each order.
LOCATION

Its not hot here. But it is always crowded, even on weekdays. There will be difficulty to find nearer parking as well. But food and drink is all worth the hassle.
HYGIENE

For a cafe "kopitiam" standard, its considered to be quite clean.
All in all, its a place where you should try out for breakfast at least once, and you will see how it will not be your last.
