Santo Graal

Last night in the company of a couple of friends we had dinner at the Santo Graal pub, one of the first Irish pub-style pubs in the city. You enter inside through 5 steps and you are immediately in front of the American Bar where you can drink above all draft beers in half-liter jugs.
The restaurant has a small central stage where groups usually perform in the second part of the evening. Sitting at the table, we ordered the puccia (a typical Salento bread) with salami and spreadable cheese and a portion of fried potatoes.
As an appetizer we ordered speck rolls and smoked scamorza, cooked in a small terracotta pan. To conclude we also ordered a simple margherita pizza, with really good dough and a home-made scented sauce.
The Holy Grail also has a space outside with tables and chairs but due to the rain, we decided to prefer a table inside, where however large windows allowed the air to circulate for our great joy. The Holy Grail is open every day from 8pm until late at night and is closed on Mondays.
