Pescaria Seafood Restaurant
In Trani there is a place that has revolutionized the cuisine of sea food, modernizing it and for this it has obtained a great consensus. The local in question is called Pesca*ria.
It is located on the beach, just a few meters from the sea, and is also equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas for those who want to spend the day relaxing, perhaps enjoying fresh sea food. Pescaria is specialized in seafood sandwiches and the combinations created are very special but very good.
I ordered a sandwich with tuna, pesto and stracciatella tartare while my wife ordered the sandwich with cooked and cooled king prawns, stracciatella, tomatoes and cocktail sauce. In order not to miss anything, we ordered a 500 gr fried shrimp, octopus and cuttlefish.
Once ordered and paid, the cashier issues the receipt with the booking number. Meanwhile we sat down at the first free table and waited for the waiter to call our number and serve us our sandwiches.
From the photo the sandwiches might seem small, but they are much larger and really stuffed. Having also ordered the mixed fried seafood, my wife could not finish the sandwich! The taste is really good, the freshness of the product feels good and the condiments have been carefully chosen and do not hide the other flavors.
The most famous sandwich in Pescaria is stuffed with fried octopus, a typical dish from Puglia and that represents a bit of the culinary symbol of our land! For the two sandwiches and the fried fish we spent a total of 30 euros. In my opinion, the price is in line with the chosen product and sea food has a higher cost than meat.

A Trani vi è un locale che ha un po' rivoluzionato la cucina del cibo di mare, ammodernandola e per questo ha ottenuto un grande consenso. Il locale in questione si chiama Pescaria.
Sorge in spiaggia, a pochissimi metri dal mare, ed è dotato anche di lettini ed ombrelloni per chi vuole trascorrere la giornata in relax magari degustare del cibo di mare fresco. Pescaria è specializzato in panini di mare e le combinazioni create sono davvero particolare ma buonissime.
Io ho ordinato un panino con la tartare di tonno, pesto e stracciatella mentre mia moglie ha ordinato il panino con gamberoni cotti e raffreddati nel ghiaccio, stracciatella, pomodori e salsa cocktail. Per non farci mancare nulla, abbiamo ordinato una frittura da 500 gr di gamberetto, polipi e seppie.
Una volta ordinato e pagato, il cassiere ti rilascia lo scontrino con il numero di prenotazione. Nel frattempo ci siamo accomodati al primo tavolo libero e abbiamo aspettato che il cameriere chiamasse il nostro numero e ci servisse i nostri panini.
Dalla foto i panini potrebbe sembrare piccoli, ma sono molto più grandi e davvero ripieni. Avendo anche ordinato la frittura mista di mare, mia moglie non è riuscita a terminare il panino! Il sapore è davvero ottimo, si sente bene la freschezza del prodotto e i condimenti sono stati scelti con cura e non nascondono gli altri sapori.
Il panino più famoso di Pescaria è farcito con il polpo fritto, un piatto tipico della Puglia e che rappresenta un po' il simbolo culinario della nostra terra! Per i due panini e la frittura di mare abbiamo speso in totale 30 euro. Il prezzo è a mio avviso in linea con il prodotto scelto ed il cibo di mare ha un costo maggiore rispetto alla carne.
