Vegetarian Meals @ San Bao Vegetarian (三宝斋素食)
Hello dear Steemians,
Someone asked me why I like to take vegetarian food. For me, vegetarian food is the best food choice nowadays. Consume more vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, multi-grain beans, and herbs is really good for health. We shall love our environment, reduce killing the animals, and reduce the usage of energy, to be kind to our earth.
Recently, I brought few friends to a vegetarian restaurant to enjoy vegetarian meals for our lunch break. Today let me introduce you nice vegetarian food at a food court. It is San Bao Vegetarian which’s located at Ang Mo Kio, Blk 422.

有人问我为什么喜欢素食？我想说素食好! 多吃蔬菜，水果，菇类，五谷豆料，中药材对身体很好。爱环境，爱地球，减少杀害动物，减少使用能源，对环境地球好。那不是一举两得吗?
近来工作忙碌，午餐时间约了几位朋友到一家素食阁去吃素。今天就让我为你们介绍这家美食阁的素食。它是位于宏茂桥Blk422的三宝斋素食。
San Bao Vegetarian is a food stall in the food court. The first and fifteenth day of Chinese calendar, the business is very good, mostly we need to queue and wait for our ordered food.
三宝斋素食是食阁里的一个档口。初一和十五生意很好。如果你初一或十五来这里，可能要排队点餐。
San Bao Zhai Vegetarian has variety of local vegetarian food, such as Kuay Chap, Laksa，Nasi Lemak and Wanton Mee. Let me share with you the food we ordered:
三宝斋推出几道抄牌菜，如粿汁，辣沙，马来椰浆饭，和云吞面。来看看我们点了什么素食：
Osmanthus noodles. The taste of this noodle is good and fragrant. The price is S$4.00.
桂花面。味道不错，厨师把这面炒得蛮香的。价钱是新币4.00。
Vegetarian Nasi Lemak. Fragrant coconut rice with long beans, cucumber, fried tofu, and poached eggs. If you are full vegan, you can request to change the poached egg into other item. The price is S$3.00.
马来椰浆饭。香香的椰浆饭加上，长豆，黄瓜，豆片，荷包蛋。如果吃全素的朋友可以和店家要求，把荷包蛋换成其他的事物。价钱是新币3.00。
Fried Mee Hun. Taste not bad. The price is S$4.00.
炒米粉。不错！价钱是新币4.00。
Kuay Chap. It is nice added fried Taupok, Yuba and vegetables. The soup is hot and tasty. This is the signature meal for this vegetarian stall. The price is S$3.00.
粿汁。薄薄的面薄，加上炸豆卜，和青菜。粿汁汤头很好喝，热热的。是这家素食店的招牌菜。价钱是新币3.00。
Vegan sashimi rice noodle soup. No bad. We can order one bowl to warm our body in the raining day. The price is S$4.00.
素鱼片米粉汤。不错，汤好喝。雨天可以叫一碗来暖暖身子。价钱是新币4.00。
Korean Style Vegan Hotpot. This Korean kimchi soup is bit sour and spicy, with soft and QQ udon noodles, and added cheese, very appetizing. I like to order this in cold weather or rainy season. The price is S$10.00.
韩式部队锅。这韩式泡菜汤好喝，酸酸辣辣，乌冬面条QQ软软的，加上cheese，很开胃。天气冷或雨天很适合点这个。价钱是新币10.00。
