Romantic Mahagoni in Tata, Hungary
Tata is a fantastic destination approximately 45 minutes from Budapest with car (in the direction of Vienna). Here you can find two beautiful lakes, a magnificent English park, and so much more. It is the perfect location for a romantic walk with your loved one, but where to eat after the walk?
Mahagoni is a nice restaurant located not far from the big "Old Lake" in Tata. It is a very popular restaurant, making it worth booking your table beforehand.
I have been to Mahagoni several times (and visited it just a few days ago), and it is almost always a treat and a place we like to return to. The portions are giant, and the prices are low. Sometimes the crew can be a little grumpy, but in general that doesn't cause any trouble.
There is a nice terrace in which you can sit "outdoor", there is an indoor area, and there is also an upper floor in which there is a little children corner (which can be useful if kids join you for the romantic date).
On the menu you will find traditional Hungarian courses, but also popular Italian courses like all sorts of pizzas, Carbonara and Bolognese.
