Cottage Cheese Bun with Sweet Sour Cream

Cottage Cheese is a very popular ingredient in Hungarian cooking. I am not a big fan of cottage cheese in salty food, but if you are speaking about sweet cottage cheese for dessert in one way or another, I am all yours!
Today, I got to eat a cottage cheese bun with sweet sour cream (that is sour cream with sugar) in the restaurant Bartfai Vendeglo in Budapest. It is a bit outside the city center, but that makes it much easier to reach for those never really touching the city center.
The dessert was served with the sweet sour cream, with two delicious bites of pear, and three small sized cottage cheese buns. These are boiled in water and covered with breadcrumbs. They are really soft and so delicious to eat.
I have eaten this dessert in quite a lot of restaurants in Hungary, but this has got to be one of the very best versions I have had of this dessert ever.
I will write more about the food in the restaurant in another Tasteem review sometime in the near future, but as of know, this is oen of the best places in Hungary if you want to eat this delicious dessert.
