Whiskey Kitchen Nashville, TN
This past March, my wife and I took a trip to Nashville, TN for Spring break.
We visited Whiskey Kitchen for lunch one of the days we were there.
The space inside isn't super big, but they have a huge outdoor seating area with tables, benches, umbrellas, and heaters to keep you comfortable no matter the weather.
It is a trendy, but casual place offering walk-in service only. No reservations are accepted.
The theme of the restaurant is obviously Whiskey and they offer a large number of drinks featuring that spirit.
We visited on a Saturday for lunch and while they weren't busy when we got there, things had picked up quite a bit by the time we left.
I started my meal with a "New Fashioned" pictured above. It consisted of bourbon, apples, and cinnamon. It was great! We also got an order of the Blue Ribbon Pub Cheese. They were fantastic.
My wife got the nachos and really enjoyed them. The portions were huge and the prices were very reasonable given that fact.
I got the WK Hot Chicken which is their take on the regional favorite Nashville Hot Chicken.
It was fantastic! Even though the heat was very apparent, the breading still had a ton of flavor that came through. The chipotle mac and cheese was the perfect companion to the dish.
I definitely plan on visiting this place again when we go back to Nashville. Their menu consists of many pub favorites as well as Southern classics like biscuits and gravy and white cheddar grits.
They also do wood fired pizzas that looked amazing.
If you are in Nashville and looking for a great place to have a meal and drinks I highly recommend Whiskey Kitchen.

Is that a drink or food?
The main course looks great, Im not a fan of Mac'n'Cheese but I would try that.
That was the drink. I need to take better pictures in the future :)
