Bali Food Guide - #27 Aroma Warung & Catering, Kerobokan
I love the buffet style of Indonesian warungs since I first stepped into one. About two years ago we´ve found a beautiful warung in Kerobokan on Bali called Aroma Warung. This is not your typical indonesian warung, it´s more like a bit from every country everything, but the main influence is from the french kitchen.
I just love to eat a bit of everything instead of just one meal.
Ich liebe den Buffetstil der indonesischen Warungs, seit ich zum ersten Mal in einem essen war. Vor ungefähr zwei Jahren haben wir in Kerobokan auf Bali einen wunderschönen Warung namens ** Aroma Warung ** gefunden. Dies ist kein typischer indonesischer Warung, es ist eher ein bisschen aus jedem Land alles, aber der Haupteinfluss ist aus der französischen Küche.
Ich mag es einfach, ein bisschen von allem zu essen, anstatt nur eine Mahlzeit.
The location is really nice and in the middle of rice fields. But if you don´t know the restaurant it's quite hard to find it. Although it isn´t really big, but still offers enough space during lunch time.
All the food gets freshly prepared every day. During lunchtime there are many french expats eating here...I guess that´s a good sign.
Die Lage ist wirklich schön und mitten in Reisfeldern. Aber wenn man das Restaurant nicht kennt, ist es ziemlich schwer, es zu finden.
Das Essen wird jeden Tag frisch zubereitet. Zur Mittagszeit essen hier viele französische Auswanderer ... Ich denke, das ist ein gutes Zeichen.
Every day they got a different selection of yummy dishes. Chicken legs in creamy mushroom sauce, meatballs in tomatosauce or fried chicken chinese style...here everyone will be satisfied.
Jeden Tag gibt es eine andere Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten. Hähnchenschenkel in cremiger Pilzsauce, Fleischbällchen in Tomatensauce oder gebratenes Hühnchen nach chinesischer Art ... hier werden alle zufrieden gestellt.
On the photos below you can see that we always try a bit of everything. You only have to be cautious with your portions as the dishes are quite heavy.
Depending on how much you ordered you´ll get these small plastic caps which indicate how much you have to pay at the end.
Auf den Fotos unten kann man sehen, dass wir immer ein bisschen von allem versuchen. Man muss nur vorsichtig mit den Portionen sein, da die Gerichte hier ziemlich schwer sind.
Je nachdem, wie viel man bestellt hat erhält man diese kleinen Plastikkappen, aus denen hervorgeht wieviel man am Ende bezahlen muss.
The food on both plates together cost us 106.000 Rupiah which is around 6,70 Euro. That is a very reasonable price for european food. The food is super delicious and we were never disappointed.
Das Essen auf beiden Tellern zusammen hat uns 106.000 Rupiah gekostet, was ungefähr 6,70 Euro entspricht. Das ist ein sehr vernünftiger Preis für europäisches Essen. Das Essen ist super lecker und wir wurden nie enttäuscht.
