Hong Kong Tasteem(2) - [EN/CN] A Restaurant with styles of 7 countries?

This is my entry to the activity “Cheap and Fabulous? Totally possible!” from Tasteem.

Before visiting this restaurant, I never heard of it. Everyday I am troubled by where to have lunch. So my colleague becomes my lunch consultant. And that day, he found this restaurant.

又參加tasteem活動了！這次參加“Cheap and Fabulous? Totally possible!”
今次介紹的餐廳，在來之前，我根本從來沒有聽過！其實我每一天最煩惱的事情，就是午飯在哪裡吃，慢慢地，我同事就充當了美食專員，每天都尋找附近沒有去過的餐廳，結果，這一次他找到這間餐廳。

I can’t say it’s a great restaurant but it fits the topics! The price is good and I was shocked when I read the Lunch menu. Styles of 7 countries!?

我不能說這餐廳的食物超級好吃，不過它的價錢不算貴，符合主題，還有就是我很欣賞它的餐牌，因為餐牌上一共有七國特式的料理！？

We can find dishes with style of HK, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thai, Taiwan and Singapore! Haha! It can satisfy the need of all people! no need to be struggle of Japanese or Thai. Just come here!

大家可以看到香港、日本、韓國、越南、泰國、台灣、新加坡，一共7個地區特式的料理！這餐廳絕對能滿足所有人，以後不用再想「我想吃日本菜，但你想吃越南菜，怎麼辦？」。不怕，來這裡就可以了。

The restaurant is not big but popular. We came at around 1:45pm, which is almost the end of lunch time, and there were still lot of people. The decoration was in industrial loft style. You can find the details of decoration.

餐廳不大，也很熱鬧，我們到的時候是下午1點45分，午飯時間都差不多過了，但仍是坐滿了人！餐廳走工業風設計，在小細節大家會看到很多用心之處。

On the table, there was an iron box with a “福” red paste on it. What is it? Oh, sugar. Haha!

桌子上看到一個鐵盒子，貼著福字揮春，什麼來的？噢！是砂糖......

My colleague ordered the Pad Krapow Pork. It’s a Thai style dish using garlic, chilli, Thai basil and lemon leafs, plus an egg. The word “Pad” means “Fry” and “Krapow” means “Thai Basil”.

我同事點的是泰式香葉肉碎煎蛋飯，用了蒜蓉、辣椒、泰國羅勒及檸檬葉製成。這菜的中文名字沒啥特別，英文名字就有趣了，”Pad”是炒的意思，”Krapow” 則是泰國羅勒。

I like noodle so I ordered the Singapore Prawn Laksa noodle. The word “Laksa” comes from ancient Sanskrit which means “many many”. It is believed that Laksa means the fusion of cooking style from Malay Archipelago and other areas of Southeast Asia, which fit the meaning “many many”.

我比較喜歡吃面，就點了新加坡大蝦喇沙湯面。喇沙又稱叻沙，來源自古印度梵語，意思是「很多」，相信這字的由來是喇沙揉合了馬來半島及東南亞的多種材料及風格以成的煮食風格，這裡希望新加坡及馬來西亞的朋友能多加指點。

Now Laksa is the representative of Malaysian and Singaporean foods. There are many types of Laksa. The one I ordered should be Nyonya Laksa which mix curry and coconut.

現在喇沙可說是馬拉及新加坡菜的代表了，喇沙其實也分很多種，我這個應該是娘惹喇沙吧，用了椰汁和咖理。

I can’t say the food is so so so delicious but you won’t regret. And I like the idea of many styles of food haha. Nice enjoying the lunch here!

不能夠說這餐廳是一等美食，但你來了也絕不會後悔，重點是雲集亞洲七國菜，倒是很有趣，我很享受！
