Tarot Tuesday - 5 card general reading for the week March 27th - April 3rd

in #tarottuesday6 years ago

I was inspired by the gracious @traciyork to join the #TarotTuesday party!
Do you love tarot, too - feel free to join in!
And be sure to check out @SteemitTarot which keeps #TarotTuesday going all week long!

I’ve been practicing tarot privately for about 15 years but I'm finally ready to get out there and help others with my cards! I know readings can change mindsets and bring true solutions to many. Tarot readings are a wonderful way to connect to your inner self and learn where you can improve.

I’ll provide the book’s interpretation as well as my understanding of the cards in the dtube video - so be sure to make your choice and then watch the video to get a more in depth explanation of your card.

A Quick Bit About My Deck

My deck The Fairy Ring is based in Celtic myths and legends.

As with the traditional tarot, my cards have four suits - but are represented by the four seasons. There are four court cards for each season which have a general meaning as well as point to a specific type of real person. Also there are eight festival cards which represent the chief fairy feasts/holidays which have general meanings but can also point to specific times of the year.

As you can tell from the title, it’s a fairy based deck but the unique thing is each card has a real mythology behind it. Some are so familiar, most of us will recognize them - others I’d never heard of before opening this book.

Choose one card (or 2 or 3 or all - it’s whatever you want) which you are drawn to.

I forgot to number the cards this week but please consider the 1 - 5 left to right.

Now that you've chosen your card(s) check out my #dtube (dtube is not cooperating.. SO) youtube video below all about your choice or if you are short on time scroll down to see your message!

1. Queen of Spring | Sea Mither

Book’s Interpretation – Reversed

Poverty, lack, blocked creativity or domestic upheaval - desperate need for love noto returned.
Could be a real person: a widow or lonely woman, who is bitter and a malicious gossip.

My Thoughts

When the Spring Queen is reversed you are in some kind of slump, whether financial, creative or emotional – some things did not work out as planned and you're really feeling it. You could be facing financial lack or even just stuck in the mind frame of not having enough. Maybe you have enough to get by but you're focusing on what you don't have. The message in the reversed Sea Mither is to focus on what you do have – remember she represents spring, so have faith that things will start to grow again.
If you can identify with the woman figure the Sea Mither represents reversed I advise caution, maybe the cards are warning that she may make an appearance or start some kind of gossip.

2. Four Autumn | Banshee

Book’s Interpretation - Reversed

The Banshee appears reversed to advise you that your own pyschic senses are developing at this time. Listen to your intuition and trust your instincts. Take note of dreams, portents and omens.

My Thoughts

This is one card I always like to see popping up reversed. Whether you're a spiritual person or not e sure to follow your instincts and gut feelings. You are very connected right now and guidance will be coming to you in whichever way resonates most significantly to you – whether it be “feelings”, random ideas, dreams, “signs”. Some things will strike you as good or bad – go with it if it feels right and get the heck outta there if it feels wrong. Don't second guess your first instinct – that's the message.

3. Two of Summer | Wayland Smtih

Books Interpretation

The Wayland Smith indicates a period of hard work, creation, craftsmanship, knowledge, skill, mastery. Opportunities and success are at hand, your efforts will bring rewards. Can also signify transmution and forging new things from the old.

My Thoughts

Your hardwork is paying off and people are starting to notice you've got skills. You may have had a breakthrough in your craft where now you feel as if you've mastered something. The Wayland Smith can be sending a message much like all smiths did – beauty is forged in fire. Maybe you are redisovering an old flame or and old talent you'd forgotten about or found a new solution to an old problem.

4. Two of Winter | Trow

Book’s Interpretation – Reversed

The Trow is a warning that if you do not take care of something and recognize its true value, you will lose it or it will be taken from you. An interesting offer may be withdrawn if you boast or gossip about it.

My Thoughts

The Trowo reversed is all about seeing value in what you have – be it people, items, connections or ideas. Give those around you their due admiration, feel appreciation for all the “things” you “own”, be grateful but there is an underlying warning against hubris. Don't boast about it or take advantage because chances are you will lose it.

5. Ace of Spring | Ariel

Book’s Interpretation – Reversed

Reversed, Ariel indicates muddled thinking, rigid but mistaken ideas, and a period of disagreements, conflicts and quarrels.

My Thoughts

When Ariel is reversed the message is all about being trapped in a certain mindframe – usually a misguided perceptions of some kind. This state of thinking will results in many disagreements and debates as you will feel the need to express whatever strict belief/assumption you are attaching to. Ariel upright is the winds of change - free and strong – so once you are able to break out of this boxed up idea you will have some great epiphany which will sweep you up to a higher plane.

I hope you could relate to the card(s) you chose and the message the Fairies had for you!stop by next Tuesday for another 5 card spread.

Excellent idea. I really love it @amariespeaks

@artemis94 - this is a highly spam driven comment. I hope you are a not a bot, in case you're real please don't leave comments like this - are you new to Steemit? I have a bunch of links to tons of content that will explain how important meaningful communication is on this platform. If you are interested in reading them please reply and I will drop the links for you.

If you want to succeed here I suggest you never randomly drop unwarranted spam-bombs into someone's comments section and leave a generic message that:

A.) clearly states you did not read the post
and
B.) asks for upvote/follow/f4f

BTW : continuously spammish comments like this will end up getting flagged which will result in the loss of sbd/steem so if for no other reason do it for the money

I really enjoyed this reading as it just confirmed what my intuition told me :) I picked card #2 and this couldn't have been more spot on! "Don't second guess your first instinct – that's the message." Yes Ma'am!

Yay! So glad to hear you liked the reading and that you reveiced your message @whiteheart ! Thank you for stopping by!

While I picked my cards on Tuesday, I just finally had the chance to sit down and watch the video this morning.

LOVE

IT!

You definitely need to make that freestyle thing at the end a regular thing. It was so cool to watch you - am I right that you knocked on the cards three times before you drew them? I have this (I've been told, weird) quirk where I rub my index finger quickly three times, then tap three times, then draw. 😜

Oh, and when I saw the picture, I knew immediately I needed the last three cards as a mini past/present/future interp. Totally and completely resonated for me. Thanks so much, and bright blessings to you!

yay!! I'm so glad you watched it and liked it! Yes, I did knock three times ;-) lol we've both got our little habits, that's so cool. I'm happy the last three resonated with you! I almost cut it because I was caught off guard by the 3rd card, the Taroo (I always see the fairy cow upright but the bull side? hardly ever) I thought I looked a little flustered lol then I was kicking myself because I should have known instinctually the bull was stubbornness, aggressive and brute force lol it's so obvious, I felt like a fool lol oh well! I figure only a few people will be watching anyways so why not keep it real LOL <3 <3

I think it's awesome that you kept it in, and kept it real! Seriously, you didn't come across like a fool - more like you were contemplating the meaning. I've had babbling moments myself when reading cards for other people, and I think the flusteredness (is that a word? It should be if it isn't) is much worse in our own brain than what other people hear. Speaking of babbling, I should probably stop now... LOL!

LOL thank you ! that definitely makes me feel better :-D I think I will keep doing a bit of free pulling like that - it was fun

Awesome! Can't wait to see it!
(and fingers crossed DTube behaves nest week 😜 )

thanks for this! i heard about your post through @traciyork and i'm delighted to find you. i chose 2 the banshee reversed and it speaks so true. i've been using tarot for years, but am just now getting back into it during a big transition in my life. i keep getting signs that yes this is a tool to use so thanks for being another channel for one of those signs! <3

Isn't this awesome, @mountainjewel? I'm so glad you wandered over and checked this post out!

YAY!!!!!

I wondered when I'd finally get to see an @amariespeaks specially created gif! WHOO HOO! I love it - thanks so much in return!

lol gifs are so addicting! hahah ;-)

Big time! LOL!

@mountainjewel yay welcome back to tarot! so happy you're getting great signs and following your heart! Stick with your gut <3 thanks so much for stopping by - hope to see you next Tuesday!

Cool. #4. Not sure what I might have, but boasting isn't a natural fault. We'll see.
Appreciate your hair! Appreciate @dannyfd !
😉😇

Hmm interesting! and thanks! my hair has a mind of its own lol I just let it do what it wants

My brother's all had thick black curly Celtic hair, but I had Mum's platinum blonde for four years, and so fine that once the Army cut it, it would only split-end and not grow longer than my collar. My friends love this guy's posts.

ohh my boys are like that one has dark haur and eyes the other is blonde with blue eyes.. Once my blondie started getting regular hair cuts he lost his curls and its a bit darker now too. Hair is funny like that - I liked the post very much thanks ffor the tag.

No worries. 😆I know how the ladies all worry at their hair😉
