Here's a recipe for Ginger Tea:
Cut and chop 1/2 cup ginger root
Bring to boil in 2 quarts water Simmer for 15 minutes, turn off let sit about half way through simmering
Add two Mullein Leaves about 1/4 cup of mullein if you have it powdered. Continuing simmering
Turn Off...
Add 1 big handful of Lemon Balm let steep for another 5 minutes
Add honey or sweetner to taste.
This tea is wonderful served both hot or cold.
This tea is perfect for Fall time and those change of temperatures. Mullein and lemon balm are extremely soothing to your lung tissue and can help those with colds, congestion and allergies, mixed with the Master herb Ginger this tea packs a punch!
