TapMydata aims to to break this cycle of data abuse,by creating an personal decentralized data app to give the people simple tools to take back control of their data.
TapMydata app was build on blockchain as a statement of record to make it easy for people to ask, and companies to provide data using the secure channel on the phone and no other third party will be invold all discutions are secure,they are use public key cryptography and privacy by design . Each consumer can control their very own virtual identity, mint NFT’s (Non-Fungible Tokens) of Blockchain Verified Consent and licenced to be used on the internet. TAP token is the coin who are used for user and company to buy/sell the data on the app,but this is not only goal for what was created , tap is a very important piece on the tapmaydata ecosystem,the coin can be used on different pourpose like:

Reverse Data Requests - licensees bounty out templates for population; to participate, stakeholders need to accumulate, hold/stake a level of TAP
Demographic Data Pools - created by people or intermediaries such as trusts, tokens are used to mint stake to the pool and NFT's purchased which become the 'keys' to unlock the data.
TapMydata aready have agreements with Ocean Protocol and Streamr to provide Tap’s unique datasets on their decentralised marketplaces and one of the investitors in this project are Outlier Ventures.
