Prerogative PARENTS = Limited right to each person in their individual categories = The exercised power of a sovereign representative of the individual category.

Perhaps one constant then, in life, is that individuals reserve the prerogative right to suspend something once it no longer operates effectively i.e. Government. Hence, a naive mechanistic optimism has been replaced by a well founded anxiety for the fate of humanity.

My response:

"Fallax certissime nos non seducit iudicium, videlicet inveniri posse formulam veluti magicam pro magnis nostri temporis provocationibus."

(We are certainly not seduced by the naive expectation that, faced with the great challenges of our time, we shall find some magic formula).
