Tanzania is one of the countries in Africa surrounded by many tourist attractions and some may not even be recognized by locals.

Lake Ngosi is probably one of those attractions.

This lake, which is the second largest in Africa after another cretaceous lake in Ethiopia, reflects the landscape of Africa in the south, west, north and east as well as its islands of Unguja and Pemba.

Lake Ngosi is located in the Uporoto Mountains, Mbeya Region in the highlands of southern Tanzania.

The uniqueness or diversity of this lake is that the lake is high in the mountains and in the middle of the forest and is 2.5 km long, 1.5 km wide, 74 meters deep and 9332 hectares in size.

The view of the African continent located on Lake Ngosi is similar to the visual map of the African continent and its islands on a large stone in Njombe, southwestern Tanzania that is not man-made.

The volume of water does not change, that is, it does not change during the rainy season or the dry season.

Another wonder in this lake is that the waters of Lake Skin have a variety of different colors all the time, there are times when you arrive you find the lake is blue, green or black.
The presence of forests causes the color of the water to change and when the sun is shining.

Birds prefer to swim along with certain types of ducks that swim in large numbers and make the lake a more attractive appearance.

Despite the fact that the lake is interesting to look at but it does not have fish or have a history of its existence as well as it is not friendly to swimming.
