Biography
Hugo Fernández established the "Alma de Tango School of Argentine Dances" in 1998. Since then Hugo has focussed his passion and art to make the "TANGO ARGENTINO" known outside Argentina in all its facets : music, poetry and dance.
Alma de Tango was the first tango-only school of Argentine tango in Australia and it became the centre of propagation of the Argentine culture and art in Australasia.
Hugo Fernández has extended his activities to a world-wide student audience and continues teaching classes and workshops on specialised traditional for tango, milonga and vals al around the world, including his native land Argentina.
Hugo Fernández is the Principal of the internationally renowned Alma de Tango School of Argentine Dances.
Hugo was born, brought up and educated in Buenos Aires. He is a Professional Argentine Tango Dancer and a tango lover since his childhood.
