Skulls showcased as a mark of protest by farmers of Tamilnadu. These are the skulls of those who had committed suicide due to debt pressure. Tamilnadu last year witnessed worst drought of 140 years due to 60% deficit in rainfall. The farmers were demanding Rs 40,000 cr drought package and loan waivers.
