Bad project
"You know what we agreed."
No flood or soever was what they had agreed about. No flood, no plagues or soever. He had tried it all and that damned world with population always survived. He was the first to admit that he had made a mistake. One he tried to wipe out for centuries.
Mother Earth didn't trust the man in front of her. He had been a lousy God and father to the creatures he called his children. Never home, a bad listener and always without an answer. It was a miracle to her why so many kept calling him in their prayers. She decided the lack of self-esteem, the weakness and lack of trust in what she had gifted them with.
"So it's the end? Really?"
He held the world between his hand and hesitated.
"You had your chance, enough time to do what's right and all that poison and technology, those G's are bad for me. Don't make me say it again! Adam, Eve, Noah and his family all did a bad job. The snakes in my grass called Bill, George, Angela, Hugo or whatever their name is will die now. They are the worst."
He tried to protect his world but it was too late. Mother had had it with him and his wild ideas. She wiped out the islands from where the rich and famous lived on her behalf, made the heaven fall down and crushed everything he held between his hands.
"Not one word!" She said as he tried to say what was on his mind, "you better keep silence for the next centuries unless you like to be finished too."
He knew she was right. Humankind had been a disaster just like the animal kingdom. In the future she might give him a chance to try out another project he had in mind. That was if he didn't piss her off earlier.
