Taiwanese Protesters Worship Premier As God

After Taiwanese Premier Lai stated that the Executive Yuan was engaged in "achievements and virtue" (功德), protesters mocked his use of the term which is also a Buddhist term meaning "the fruit of charitable works" and have relabeled the Executive Yuan as "the Temple of the Fruits of Charitable Works" in the style of a Buddhist Temple on street signs and bus stops. Protesters were also outside the Executive Yuan shaving their heads to look like Buddhist monks over the weekend. They have also crowned Taiwanese Premier Lai Ching-te as God Lai...
