U2 y la enigmática frase que hace pensar en su retirada
El pasado 1 de septiembre la banda irlandesa U2 daba un concierto en la capital de Alemania (Berlín), un concierto en el que, casi desde el principio, el cantante Bono no estaba cómodo con su voz, hasta que llegó a la canción Beautiful Day, momento en el que perdió totalmente la voz.
Este es el momento en el que Bono informaba de que no podía seguir el concierto y que se cancelaba.
Después de recuperarse se siguió con la gira, hasta que el pasado martes, cuando volvieron a tocar en la capital alemana y el líder de la banda irlandesa, justo antes de dar por finalizada la gira Innocene + Experience, dijo:
Hemos estado de gira por bastante tiempo, casi 40 años, y estos últimos cuatro años han sido muy especiales para nosotros. Ahora nos vamos...
Esta enigmática frase ha levantado todo tipo de rumores en el mundo de la música, rumores que dejan una puerta abierta al fin de la banda irlandesa más importante de todos los tiempos, un referente a nivel mundial que ha estado tocando los últimos 40 años... casi nada.
La vida da muchas vueltas y lo que parece que ahora puede sonar a un fin próximo, puede que dentro de unos meses se convierta en un simple rumor y que la banda de Dublín nos siga deleitando con la impresionante música que nos ha ido dejando todos estos años... esperemos que sea así...
