Entorno al Museo Guggenhiem hay dispuestas algunas esculturas. Personalmente me siento fascinado por la escultura 'El gran árbol y el ojo', de Anish Kapoor. Como curiosidad os diré que fue adquirida por 3,5 millones.
Anish Kapoor es un artista británico nacido en Bombay. Es hijo de una rara combinación de creencias religiosas, ya que su madre es judía y su padre hindú. Desde 1980 reside en Londres, donde estudió Arte y Diseño.
Una escultura magnífica creada por Anish Kapoor es la "Puerta de la Nube", que está instalada en el Millenium Park de Chicago.
En el Museo del Automóvil de Turin tuve ocasión de hacer una fotografía a una maqueta de esta escultura que ha servido de inspiración, incluso en el diseño de los coches.
Kapoor ha experimentado mucho con diversos materiales. Ha utilizado en sus obras piedra, hormigón, fibra de vidrio, piedra, y acero inoxidable, entre otras.
En concreto las obras que realiza con acero inoxidable me parecen fabulosas por sus grandes dimensiones, reflejos y tonalidades. Su superficie lisa y brillante me parece muy seductora. De acuerdo a la luz ambiental y el entorno cambian constantemente su aspecto. No hay dos momentos iguales.
He realizado diversas variaciones en la edición de las fotografías que tomé. He disfrutado mucho retocándolas y tengo dudas de en cual se consigue obtener el mayor efecto o impacto visual. La cantidad de versiones es infinita.

Surroundings to the Guggenhiem Museum there are some sculptures arranged. Personally I am fascinated by the sculpture 'The great tree and the eye', by Anish Kapoor. As a curiosity I will tell you that it was acquired by 3.5 million.

At the Automobile Museum in Turin I had the opportunity to take a photograph of a model of this sculpture that has been an inspiration, even in the design of cars.
Kapoor has experimented a lot with different materials. He has used stone, concrete, fiberglass, stone, and stainless steel, among others, in his works.
In particular, the works he does with stainless steel seem to me fabulous due to their large dimensions, reflections and tonalities. Its smooth and shiny surface seems very seductive. According to the ambient light and the environment they constantly change their appearance. There are not two equal moments.
I have made several variations in the edition of the photographs I took. I have really enjoyed retouching them and I have doubts about which one gets the greatest effect or visual impact. The number of versions is infinite.

Cómo lo hago
Hice las fotografías con mi iPhone X. Disparé la foto en modo “retrato” con Luz de escenario “mono”. Para la edición utilicé la aplicación Snapseed y para la firma digital usé la App Watermark.
Los dibujos los hice en el iPad con el programa Sketches.
For the photography I use my iPhone X. I shot the photo in "portrait" mode with "mono" stage light. For edition I use the Snapseed application and for the digital signature the Watermark app.
Everything I did on my mobile phone, I did not use the computer at all.
For the drawings, I use the Sketches program and paint them on the tablet.

Fascinating! I'm of course amazed by the shiny stainless steel and also curiously why I don't seem to see you reflected in the spheres! :) That shadow? Edited and retouched? And the water element next to the sculpture complements it too!
No, I did not retouch the photo to make myself disappear, but curiously I do not find myself not why. 😊

No parece tarea fácil hermanar con ese edificio tan especial obras de arte, pero esta de Kapoor le va a las mil maravillas, muy acorde al estilo futurista del museo, están muy buenas las fotos. Abrazos.
